In long-term use, will 304 stainless steel uv panel deform or warp?

In long-term use, 304 stainless steel uv panel usually does not easily deform or warp, but there is a certain possibility under certain conditions.
304 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties, good hot workability such as stamping and bending, and no heat treatment hardening phenomenon. Its chemical composition contains more than 8% Ni and more than 18% Cr, which makes it have excellent comprehensive performance. From the perspective of material properties, 304 stainless steel itself has strong structural stability. Under normal use conditions, it can resist a certain degree of physical and chemical effects and maintain a stable shape.
However, in actual use, various factors may cause it to deform or warp. If the processing link is not properly controlled, it may bury hidden dangers for subsequent use. For example, in laser welding, factors such as welding current, pulse width and frequency distance will affect the welding quality. As the welding current increases, the weld width increases, and spatter and other phenomena gradually appear, which may cause oxidation and deformation of the welding surface; although the pulse increases the blanking width, it can improve the strength of the weld joint, but it will reduce the cross-sectional area of the weld point, affecting the welding frequency deformation; and the welding frequency is closely related to the thickness of the stainless steel plate, and improper frequency setting may cause deformation problems.
In the later processing, there are residual stresses inside and on the upper and lower surfaces of the 304 stainless steel plate after hot rolling. If the residual stress is unevenly distributed along the width and length of the steel plate, a moment will be generated on the cross section, causing the steel plate to warp after slitting. At the same time, when 304 stainless steel product pipes are processed into various stainless steel products, they will also deform after cutting due to the unevenly distributed internal stress.
In order to avoid deformation or warping of 304 stainless steel uv panel, a series of measures can be taken. During the processing, the processing temperature should be controlled to ensure that it does not exceed the tempering temperature of the stainless steel plate to avoid deformation caused by overheating; the processing method should be reasonably selected, and the cold processing method is less likely to cause deformation than the hot processing method; the processing speed should be controlled, and a stable processing speed should be used as much as possible to avoid rapid processing or stagnant processing; the support device should be used appropriately to fix the stainless steel plate to prevent its deformation; attention should be paid to the selection and wear of the tool, and the appropriate tool should be selected and the tool with severe wear should be checked and replaced regularly; the quality of the material should be controlled, and the stainless steel plate material with reliable quality should be used.
In addition, manufacturers also need to strictly control the raw materials and production processes. Select qualified raw materials to ensure that the materials have sufficient strength and remain stable at the working temperature; optimize the production process to meet the requirements of the molding process and surface treatment process to improve product quality. Through these measures, the 304 stainless steel uv panel can better maintain the shape stability and reduce the occurrence of deformation or warping in long-term use.
